Job vacancy: Technical lead - CNC production line

At BEX Machinefabriek, you’ll be working with automated CNC production lines where craftsmanship and smart automation come together. We’re looking for a technically strong leader to manage and further develop these lines. Someone who understands technology, keeps a broad overview and enjoys being right at the heart of the action. Not to watch from a distance, but to genuinely improve processes.

You’ll be responsible for one or more automated CNC production lines. You’ll ensure that everything keeps running smoothly and that things improve a little bit every week.

You’ll be working with modern CNC machines, including those with Siemens and Okuma control systems, linked to robot cells featuring Fanuc and Kawasaki robots.

What will you be doing

• Launching new products on the production line

• Setting up, optimising and improving processes

• Analysing and resolving disruptions

• Monitoring quality, output and stability

• Guiding and supporting operators

• Contributing ideas on automation and further optimisation

• Acting as a link between work planning, engineering and production

You’re a visible presence on the shop floor, you react quickly and you actually follow through on improvements. You spot areas for improvement straight away and tackle them head-on.

What we're looking for
Perfect qualifications aren’t the deciding factor. We’re looking for someone who is technically strong and understands how production processes work.

• Experience with CNC machining (milling and/or turning)

• Experience with Siemens and/or Okuma control systems is an advantage.

• An affinity for automation and robotics (Fanuc / Kawasaki)

• Strong technical skills and the ability to think in terms of processes

• You spot opportunities for improvement and actually take action on them

• You can lead and mentor operators

• Independent, practical and solution-oriented
