What will you be doing
You will ensure that the sawing process continues to run smoothly, efficiently, and reliably. You will work on one-off components and special orders as well as series production. No two days are the same, and you will be in control of the process.
You will largely organize your own work and plan ahead. During the day, you will work on one-off components and special orders. Toward the end of the day, you will prepare series production and start the process that continues unmanned overnight.
You will make sure everything is set up correctly: the right material, the right machine settings, and a stable process. This allows production to continue reliably, even when no operator is present.
In pratice, this means:
Operating and setting up KASTO CNC sawing machines
Managing an automated sawing cell with robotic unloading
Independently planning and organizing your work
Preparing and starting unmanned overnight production
Checking dimensions and product quality
Identifying and resolving machine faults
Contributing ideas to improve processes and efficiency
What are we looking for:
We are looking for someone with strong technical understanding who is comfortable taking responsibility. Someone who plans ahead, organizes their own work, and understands what is needed to keep a process running reliably.
Strong technical understanding and a sense of responsibility
Experience with CNC machinery or machining is preferred
An interest in materials, or a willingness to learn
An independent approach and good planning skills
A precise and quality-focused way of working
